The post was published during the Christmas season, as the holiday approaches rapidly in the United States.
Instead of a festive message, President Donald Trump’s administration used a children’s movie to reinforce its political narrative.

The White House Grinch message included a direct reference to a quote from the 2000 film.
Since its publication, the content has faced heavy criticism from social media users.
One user wrote: “Using children’s movies as xenophobic propaganda is disgusting.”
Critics pointed to the use of widely known cultural characters to stigmatize immigrants.
They also questioned the mocking and confrontational tone used by an official government account.
The post adds to other controversial messages shared by the White House during the same period.
Taken together, these posts have generated backlash and ridicule online.
The use of the Grinch as a symbol reinforces a narrative that associates immigration with the loss of public resources, central to the White House Grinch controversy.
Trump and His ‘Concepts of a Health Plan’
Donald Trump had previously been mocked for referring to “concepts of a plan” regarding health care.
This came amid criticism over the lack of a concrete proposal beyond opposing Obamacare.
In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham last month, Trump revisited the topic.
“Call it Trumpcare. Call it whatever you want… anything but Obamacare!” he said.
During the same appearance, he explained his idea for handling health care funding.
“Instead of going to insurance companies, I want the money to go into an account so people can buy their own health insurance,” he stated.
Trump added that the insurance “will be better” and “will cost less.”
“Everyone will be happy. They’ll feel like entrepreneurs,” he concluded.
