Are There More Bad News for Donald Trump?
A poll released this Wednesday shows that in this year’s presidential election, Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump are tied in Miami-Dade.
A strategic county in Florida that traditionally leans towards the Democratic Party.
The survey conducted by Inquire, commissioned by Republican commissioner Kevin Cabrera, reflects the future of the elections.
As Kamala Harris and Donald Trump each gather 47% of the vote intention in this most populous county of Florida.
What Does the Survey Reflect?
The study, conducted among 500 likely voters between August 22 and 25, with a margin of error of 4.5%, also accounts for 6% of undecided voters.
The results are not good news for Miami-Dade Democrats, who have won the last eight presidential elections.
And have not seen a victory by a Republican presidential candidate since 1988, when George H.W. Bush won in this southern county with 55% of the votes.
The findings, however, align with recent trends in Miami-Dade, where Democrats have seen their victory margins decrease in the last few election cycles, which would benefit Donald Trump.
