Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a grave warning to the United States on Wednesday.

In a televised address, he stated that any military intervention by Washington in the conflict between Iran and Israel would result in “irreparable damage.”

“Wise people who know Iran, its people, and its history never speak to this nation with threats, because Iranians do not surrender.”

This was Khamenei’s message on the sixth day of hostilities.

Iran Warns the US: “We Will Not Surrender”

Iran’s warning to the US comes amid reports that President Donald Trump is considering joining Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

One of the potential targets is the Fordow plant, located underground and heavily fortified.

Only the U.S. possesses a 13,600-kg bomb capable of destroying it.

This was reported by the BBC.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported severe damage to nuclear facilities in Natanz and Isfahan following Israeli bombings. Israel claims to have killed nine Iranian nuclear scientists, arguing the strikes were aimed at halting the development of atomic weapons.

What the US Says About Iran’s Warning

On Tuesday, Trump met for 90 minutes with his national security team.

According to CBS News, his advisors are divided on whether he should intervene.

The president has demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” on social media.

This has been interpreted as a rhetorical escalation.

Impact and Reactions

The attacks have left at least 224 dead in Iran, mostly civilians, and 24 dead in Israel.

Iran’s response has diminished in intensity, but cross-border bombings continue.

Experts like Frank Gardner of the BBC warn that Trump’s decision could shape the future of the Middle East. If the U.S. attacks, American bases in the Gulf and energy assets in the region could become priority targets for Iran.
