On Sunday, May 5, Kevin Amalio Hernández and his wife were fatally shot.

Moreover, the artist’s youngest son and his mother-in-law were also injured at the scene.

What has caught people’s attention in this case is that the H Norteña singer was about to release a new song.

According to Las Estrellas, this song was dedicated to God.

Kevin Amalio Hernández was traveling with his family on the Parral-Chihuahua highway in Mexico when they were murdered.

After confirming the death of the H Norteña singer, his bandmates bid him farewell.

On their Facebook page, the band from Chihuahua posted a black and white photo of the artist.

«A prayer for the irreplaceable loss of our friend, partner, brother, and vocalist, RIP,» they simply wrote, with no further details.

Fans of H Norteña offered their condolences.

According to Las Estrellas, the H Norteña singer’s stepchildren died in the hospital after the attack.

First, 17-year-old Ezequiel passed away, followed by Ángela, who was only 14 years old. They were the children of Marisela, Kevin Amalio Hernández’s wife.

The artist’s 4-year-old son and his mother-in-law Micaela, are still hospitalized.

Prosecutor Juan Carlos Portillo did not want to reveal the possible motives for this armed attack due to the case’s significance.
